IEM Associate Director, Shankar Subramaniam, named AAAS Fellow

Shankar Subramaniam, Professor of Bioengineering and Associate Director of the Institute of Engineering in Medicine (IEM), has been named 2013 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Five other UCSD Professors have been named this year as well: Ronald S. Burton, Seth M. Cohen, Jean-Bernard Minster, Bing Ren, and Mark H. Thiemens.  The IEM congratulates the distinguished Fellows for their tremendous achievements and is grateful for their contributions to science. Read more about the Fellows here.
